Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Technician to join our team in the Fort Lauderdale area. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to provide hands on support and deploy new devices across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software, & peripherals
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, answer user inquiries, and provide troubleshooting support.
• Offer guidance to users on the proper operation and usage of systems and equipment.
• Recommend procurement strategies and provide technical specifications for departmental purchases.
• Conduct regular assessments of the computing environment and propose improvements to technology and processes.
• Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of technical products, systems, and software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update assignments and tickets in accordance with established procedures.
