Job Description

Converged Telephony Networks is a growing telecommunications company located in Fort Lauderdale. As our customer base and technical operations continue to expand, we are looking for another reliable and technically inclined person to join our team. This is a broad support role within our technical department. The exact day-to-day responsibilities may vary based on experience, technical ability, and individual strengths. We are a relatively small team managing a large number of customer systems, so our employees often work across different areas rather than being limited to one narrow responsibility.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with customer technical support and aftercare Troubleshooting basic networking, phone, and connectivity issues Reviewing and updating customer work notes and technical documentation Assisting with new customer onboarding and project coordination Gathering and organizing technical information from customers and internal staff Reviewing customer configurations and account information Assisting senior technicians with ongoing projects and technical tasks Helping identify and resolve issues before they become larger customer problems We do not expect applicants to already know our specific phone systems or internal processes. Much of what we do is specialized and will be learned through training and hands-on experience. The most important qualities we are looking for are reliability, organization, communication, and the ability to logically work through a problem. You should be comfortable using computers, learning new software, and asking questions when you do not understand something. Basic networking knowledge is strongly preferred. Applicants should have at least a general understanding of IP addresses, local networks, routers, and internet connectivity. Previous experience with VoIP, telecommunications, IT support, or Grandstream equipment is a plus, but is not required. This is a full-time, in-office position at our Fort Lauderdale office. This is not a remote or field technician position. We are growing quickly, and there is significant opportunity for the position to develop as the employee becomes more familiar with our systems and demonstrates their strengths.

From $18.00 per hour
