As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Technical Support team and are looking for an HVAC Technical Support Specialist I to provide exceptional support to our contractor network. This role is ideal for an HVAC technician looking to transition into an office-based position while continuing to utilize and expand their technical expertise with inverter HVAC systems. Position Overview The HVAC Technical Support Specialist I serves as the first point of contact for contractors seeking technical assistance. This role focuses on resolving routine installation, startup, and operational issues while providing outstanding customer service. Complex cases are escalated to senior technical specialists as needed. Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support to HVAC contractors via phone, email, and online platforms. Assist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and operation. Troubleshoot common system performance issues. Guide contractors through wiring, controls, and basic electrical troubleshooting. Assist with product selection and application questions. Diagnose and explain HVAC error codes. Document technical support cases accurately. Escalate advanced technical issues to Tier II Technical Support Specialists. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and professional communication. Stay current on Comfortside products and technical updates. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC experience. Experience installing or servicing ductless and ducted inverter systems.
Basic understanding of:
Refrigeration cycle Electrical troubleshooting Wiring diagrams HVAC controls Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
