Job Description

Description SAIC is seeking a C2 Systems Integrator located onsite at Hurlburt Field, FL to support the Army Joint Support Team to provide system setup, troubleshooting, data backup, and providing training and guidance to military personnel on key command and control (C2) systems.
NOTE:
This position may require travel, both domestic and international, though travel is rare.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Plan and configure exercise Command and Control (C2) and network architectures. Perform moderately complex systems architecture design using generally accepted Department of Defense planning processes and principles. Provide coaching and teaching assistance on joint air-ground processes and the systems that automate them to soldiers and airmen working at the operational level of war. Develop and maintain appropriate documentation including systems configuration checklists and historical data. Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of the Battlefield Coordination Detachment Response cell. Support moderately complex data/media recovery through system backups and database archive operations. Collect and review communications and network information including but not limited to internet protocol (IP) addresses; ports, protocols, services required by joint and service systems; unit reference numbers; formatted addresses; contact information all required for operational success. Maintain an existing training lab of DoD command and control systems as well as configuration managed common client workstations. Provide joint air-ground systems expertise, guidance and furthers assists Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Support Team members during planning event Joint Air-Ground Operations (JAGO) working groups, JAGO seminars, and other times as needed. Assist our MCTP Support Team members as they work with MCTP planners and Detachment 1 planners in creating response cell and exercise control Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Documents (ESMED). Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's and five (5)+ years or more of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree Experience configuring Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) within a joint air-ground environment. Experience configuring and operating Joint Automated Deep Operation Coordination System (JADOCS) managers. Backup and restore operational data on Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS). Ability to set up and operate Common Operational Picture (COP) tools. Experience translating operational processes into Command and Control (C2) architecture. Knowledge of Joint air applications including but not limited to Combined Air Operations Centres (CAOC) Central and Joint Targeting Toolbox. Knowledge of U.S. Military, in particular the joint force plans and executes joint air-ground command and control as well as the systems that automate the processes.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Must obtain IAT Level I Certification within 30 days of first day (i.e. A+, CCNA, Network+ CE, etc.)
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain. Must be a current US Citizen.
