IT Technician

Our client, a government agency specializing in election management and technology support, is seeking a short-term full-time IT Technician (June-November) to join their team. As an IT Technician, you will be part of the Information Technology department supporting election operations and technical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Perform skilled work installing, maintaining, and supporting voting equipment and IT hardware. Provide end-user support for desktop computers and network equipment in a Windows environment. Conduct quality control testing of voting equipment to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to voting systems and desktop workstations. Support onsite IT needs at early voting sites during peak election periods, including long hours and weekends. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three years of technical experience with Windows Operating Systems. At least three years of experience with MS Office Suite and desktop computer installation. Must be a registered voter in Florida and possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours including weekends.
