Behavioral Health Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Part-Time IT Support Specialist to support the day-to-day technology needs of a growing behavioral health organization in Miami Beach. This person will serve as the internal point of contact for basic IT issues while working closely with our outside IT company to ensure technology problems are addressed quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable troubleshooting common computer and technology issues, and able to work independently while knowing when to escalate more complex issues to the external IT provider. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employees experiencing basic computer and technology issues. Troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, monitors, phones, internet connectivity, and other basic technology issues. Respond to technology issues promptly and help minimize downtime for the clinical and administrative teams. Work directly with the organization's outside IT company on more complex technical issues. Communicate with the outside IT provider, track open issues, and follow up to ensure problems are resolved. Maintain an accurate inventory of company technology, including computers, laptops, monitors, phones, and other equipment. Track equipment assignments and maintain records when employees receive, return, or replace equipment. Assist with setting up computers and technology for new employees. Provide basic technology support and guidance to the internal team. Assist employees with common software, login, connectivity, and hardware issues. Assist with technology onboarding and offboarding when employees join or leave the organization. Identify recurring technology problems and bring them to leadership and/or the outside IT company. Help maintain organized records of technology assets, equipment, and outstanding IT issues. Perform other basic IT and technology-related tasks as needed. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in IT support, help desk support, technical support, or a similar role. Strong computer troubleshooting skills. Comfortable working with Windows computers and common business technology. Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer, monitor, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent issues. Comfortable communicating with an outside IT vendor and following issues through to resolution. Professional, patient, and service-oriented approach when assisting employees. Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus but not required. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who enjoys being the go-to technology person for an organization and can make sure employees have the technology support they need to do their jobs. This is not a senior IT engineering position . The primary focus is handling everyday technology issues, maintaining an accurate technology inventory, supporting the internal team, and coordinating with the outside IT company when more advanced support is needed. Schedule Part-time , with flexibility based on the organization's needs. Compensation $25-$35 per hour , depending on experience.Pay:
