Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Sangoma Free
PBX VOIP
Expert - Session Border Controller & Call Routing Specialist. The role involves maintaining existing Sangoma Free PBX systems, managing Session Border Controllers, and optimizing call routing setup. Responsibilities include ensuring seamless call flow, diagnosing and resolving VoIP-related issues, implementing security measures, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality services. Qualifications Proficiency in configuring and managing Sangoma Free PBX systems and troubleshooting VOIP issues. Experience with Session Border Controllers and call routing optimization. Understanding of network protocols like SIP, RTP, and TCP/IP. Knowledge of system security, including firewalls and encryption for VOIP communications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues. Familiarity with Linux-based environments and command-line interfaces. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work and team coordination. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the telecommunication or VoIP industry is a plus.
