Schedule:
Monday - Friday Plays a critical role in enhancing healthcare delivery by analyzing clinical data and integrating informatics solutions into clinical workflows. Develops and maintains clinical information systems to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency while training medical staff on electronic health records (EHR) and informatics tools. Monitors compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, evaluates emerging technologies, and recommends improvements to clinical practices. Supports clinical research through effective data management and resolves technical issues related to informatics systems to ensure optimal performance and user adoption. Responsibilities Clinical Informatics Specialist - Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clinical data and integrate informatics solutions to enhance healthcare delivery and workflow efficiency
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize clinical information systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility
  • Train and support medical staff on electronic health records (EHR) and informatics tools
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, data governance, and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to clinical processes and patient care delivery
  • Support clinical research initiatives through effective data management and reporting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to clinical informatics systems in a timely manner Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required Master's degree preferred Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and clinical data systems
  • Experience training clinical staff on informatics tools
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Certifications (Preferred) Relevant IT or clinical informatics certifications preferred
Qualifications:
