This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to attorneys and staff, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network systems critical to legal operations. This is an in office position. Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and legal software applications.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users to provide technical assistance in person, over the phone, email, chat, or remote session (ie logmein).
  • Triage, prioritize, and escalate support requests when needed based on information gathered from end users.
  • Identify, diagnose and document recurring computer issues to find root cause.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
  • Create users in Active Directory, Office 365, phone system portal, and the firm's case management software.
  • Perform installation, maintenance and repair of computer hardware and software.
  • Support document management systems and other legal-specific tools.
  • Maintain IT Documentation (create knowledgebase, review and update IT policies/procedures, and create step-by-step training material as needed.)
  • Procurement of IT equipment
  • Maintain and add IT equipment to Asset management system.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on escalated issues and ongoing projects. Requirements
  • 1-3 years of IT support experience (help desk or technical support).
  • Level 1 and some level 2 support required.
  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting Windows OS and Microsoft's core applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams) in a network environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Office O365, and Teams
  • Familiarity with legal software systems is a plus (Perfect Law AIM).
  • Asset Explorer experience a plus.
  • Windstream OfficeSuite UC experience a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of IOS and Android.
  • Provide effective and efficient customer service while assisting end users.
  • Must be able to sit/and or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to deal with challenging employees and/or situations.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be process and procedure oriented.
  • Must be able to communicate technical information to end users in a non-technical manner.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar, a plus.
This is full-time position at our Sunrise location. Hybrid will be considered after training. The hours are 9am-5pm, with a 1hr paid lunch.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
