An educational organization is looking for an experienced IT Technician with expertise and professionalism to deliver premier level support to in-house operations at our Wellington location.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to computer users. Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. May also provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Interfacing within an educational environment & servicing the sites requestsMaintenance, system analysis, troubleshooting, phone, on-site supportPC troubleshooting and repairCommon desktop application supportMoving computers & standing for periods of the day
Job Requirements Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred1-3 years relevant work experience
Required Abilities and Skills:
Understanding of Windows operating systems: Windows 7 & Windows 10
Networking:
LAN, WAN, WIRELESSCommon Desktop Productivity Applications:
MS Office & QuickBooks Additional Requirements:
Cell Phone with data planReliable TransportationValid Driver's License w/ Proof of InsuranceAbility to Pass a Background CheckFluency in the English language, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
