Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking IT Support Technicians for a seasonal election support project in West Palm Beach, FL. This contract opportunity supports a public-sector environment during a high-volume, mission-critical election season and is ideal for hands-on IT professionals who enjoy field work, device support, hardware preparation, and fast-paced technical operations. As an IT Support Technician, you will help prepare, configure, support, and troubleshoot election-related technology used across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an important community-focused project while working with a collaborative team, structured processes, and supportive leadership focused on accuracy, reliability, and operational success. This is a great fit for dependable IT professionals with field support, help desk, hardware deployment, or CompTIA A+ experience who can remain flexible, focused, and professional during demanding project timelines. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Logic & Accuracy testing as an equipment operator to help ensure election technology is prepared and functioning properly.
  • Prepare, configure, and support election equipment, including EViDs, cell phones, iPads, and other election-related devices.
  • Provide technical support for election equipment in a call center environment during project operations.
  • Travel to polling locations as needed to deliver on-site IT support and resolve equipment or connectivity issues.
  • Support the Tabulation Department and complete additional IT or election-related tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain dependable attendance, follow assigned schedules, and adapt to changing operational needs throughout the election season. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
  • Job type: Contract/Temporary.
  • Project start date: June 22, 2026.
  • Start time: 10:00 AM.
  • Seasonal project expected to run through mid-November.
  • Multiple openings available.
  • Must be available to work long hours, overtime, consecutive days, early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • Some project periods may require 20 or more consecutive days without a day off.
  • Schedule flexibility is mandatory based on election needs.
