N/A Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Equipment Specialist, Armament - Senior located at Warner Robins

AFB, GA . REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Must have an active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. 8 years RE on supported weapon system Knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing. Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process related to their area of expertise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Experience with small caliber munitions and maintenance documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide direct technical support for missiles, bomb racks, aircraft/SOF guns systems, small arms, launchers, associated support equipment and containers. Assist munitions/weapons field-level personnel in all matters of repair, sustainment, and deficiency resolution issues and provide immediate responses to interface activation issues. Application and support of configuration management, including supporting Configuration Control Board processes for respective programs; Management of and assistance with deficiency reporting, investigation, and resolution; Support of modification management for respective weapon systems; Documentation of maintenance data; Support equipment recommendation data; Establishment of new items and cataloguing; Support development, revision and test of demilitarization procedures to ensure critical technologies are protected; Class V munitions management; Software management; and Support mishap investigations. #CJ #AirForce #Floridajobs "EPASS79"
