Position Overview Speros is seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our growing technical support team. This position is responsible for providing remote and on-site support to clients, troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, servers, network equipment, cloud services, and business applications. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues. Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and Tier 3 technicians when appropriate. Travel to client locations as needed using company-provided transportation. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Additional compensation is provided during assigned on-call periods. Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues, including internet connectivity, VPN access, DNS, DHCP, firewall rules, and port forwarding. Collaborate with Tier 1 technicians to resolve escalated support requests and mentor team members when needed. Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, troubleshooting procedures, configurations, and service protocols. Follow established service standards, response times, and customer communication practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and industry trends. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments. Basic understanding of networking concepts and services, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switching, and routing. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications Experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting SonicWall or comparable firewall solutions. Experience with ConnectWise PSA and NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM). Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Azure cloud services. Prior MSP experience supporting multiple client environments. Desired Certifications CompTIA Network+ Microsoft 365
