Job Description

  • This role is 100% onsite - 5 days per week in Postville, IA
  • We are looking for an IT Support | Desktop | Hardware Technician to provide hands-on technical assistance and dependable end-user support in Iowa.
This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving desktop, hardware, and access-related issues while supporting a stable and secure IT environment. The role will work across daily support requests, system administration tasks, and infrastructure troubleshooting to keep business operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely support for end-user issues involving printing, login access, display problems, desktop hardware, and general service desk requests.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions across Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra, and Intune environments.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Windows-based desktops and servers, including routine performance checks and issue resolution.
  • Support telephony systems and computer telephony integrations to help maintain reliable communication services.
  • Monitor backup activity, perform scheduled reboots, and assist with ongoing system maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Review security-related tickets, route issues to the appropriate teams, and escalate higher-risk concerns when needed.
  • Assist with the upkeep and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls.
  • Provide desktop deployment, imaging, and hardware setup support for new and replacement equipment.
