Job Description
The Role (Why This Job Exists) We're a growing, team-oriented company that relies heavily on technology to keep our operations running smoothly. We aren't looking for a "ticket-pusher"; we're hiring an IT Support Specialist who wants to own the environment. This is a high-trust, high-ownership position. You will be the go-to person responsible for keeping our team productive, managing our vendors, and ensuring our systems run without drama or downtime. This is an on-site position is located in our West Des Moines office. What You'll Own 1. Desktop & User Support (Core) Troubleshoot Windows PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Support Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, etc.). Resolve issues quickly with minimal disruption to employees. 2. Vendor Coordination (Critical) Submit and manage support tickets with vendors (telecom, software, hardware). Follow through relentlessly until issues are resolved. Act as the internal advocate for our team—you don't just accept "we're working on it." 3. User & System Administration (Light Infrastructure) Manage users in Active Directory and Google Workspace (add/remove/update). Handle the full tech setup for onboarding and offboarding. Maintain clean, organized systems and documentation. 4. Proactive Problem Solving Identify recurring issues and fix root causes. Recommend simple improvements that reduce friction for the team. Keep things running smoothly without needing to be asked.

Experience:
2-5 years in IT support or desktop support.Tech Stack:
Strong Windows + Google Workspace experience.Independence:
Ability to troubleshoot independently (you don't rely on Google for every fix).Follow-through:

You can speak clearly with both technical and non-technical people.Location:
Must be able to commute to our West Des Moines office.Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with Active Directory (user management, permissions). Experience working with external IT vendors or MSPs. Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, connectivity issues).
