Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a ServiceDesk Technician to join our IT support team. This role supports over 55 locations across 5 states and plays a critical part in keeping our business running smoothly. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, call-heavy environment, spending the majority of the day at their desk handling user support requests via phone, email, and our ticketing system. Pay is $20 per hour and schedule Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Duties for this position include: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries, issues, and service requests. Respond to users by phone, email, or in-person as needed. Walk users through troubleshooting steps in a clear and patient manner. Perform basic hardware and software installation, modification, and repair. Maintain daily performance of computers, printers, and other end-user systems. Run diagnostics, track recurring issues, and escalate as needed. Administer Active Directory tasks (e.g., password resets, new user profiles). Document procedures and solutions to build team knowledge. Stay up to date with system information, updates, and changes.
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops. Experience with Active Directory administration. Familiarity with Office 365 and common business applications. Knowledge of imaging and deploying computers. Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a ticket-driven environment. Requirements:
Majority of work is performed indoors at a desk, taking phone calls and handling tickets throughout the workday. Minimal lifting or physical labor required; occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs (e.g., moving equipment). May occasionally be exposed to noise, cleaning solutions, or other standard office-related factors
