Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare IT Specialist to support and advance our health information technology systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare IT, including electronic health records (EHR) management, system design, and data analytics tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimization of clinical and administrative processes through innovative technology solutions. The Healthcare IT Specialist will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining complex healthcare information systems, ensuring seamless data flow, security, and compliance across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Designs, tests, and installs specific client applications and reports using available software packages.
- Installs and maintains hardware and software products and configures PC, server and network equipment according to standards.
- Configure PC, server, and network equipment according to standards, including the installation of network infrastructure equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures, as well as defining system standards.
- Provide training and support to physicians, nurses, and staff, particularly in the use of the EHR and other applications.

- Cultivate a culture of continuous performance improvement and participate in departmental on-call support.
- Assist in policy development to support regulatory requirements. Qualifications
- Proven experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining computer networks, including server/host hardware and software network cabling.
- Familiarity with Office 365, VMWare, desktop virtualization technologies, and end-point security solutions.
- Proficiency in modern Windows-based networks, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving computer, system, and user issues.
- Excellent track record in evaluating customer/system needs and implementing new IT solutions.
- CIS or related degree preferred.
