Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking an amazing EMR Site Specialist to join the IT team! Under the supervision of the IT Director, and working closely with the Clinical Systems Analysts, the EMR Site Specialist is responsible for direct support to clinical operations and patient care teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Greenway application at NWSH. This will include being actively engaged in end user training, onsite support, workflow analysis, design, process improvement and assistance with the Greenway EMR and other supporting applications.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of or experience with
EMR / EPM
systems and related healthcare processes is required. 2 years of work experience in end-user training and/or implementation training support is preferred. Expert-level computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) are required. Knowledge of SharePoint is preferred. The ideal candidate is professional and organized with excellent interpersonal skills and can establish constructive working relationships with all levels of employees in a staff of varied and diverse backgrounds. Ability to transform complex information into simple formats. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within established guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
