Job Summary:
The IT Support Intern will assist with documenting printers and maintaining inventory of devices and supplies. Key responsibilities include imaging computers for G+D users receiving new equipment, securely wiping decommissioned computers for removal, and updating asset inventory records. The intern will support the IT team in managing technology assets and ensuring accurate documentation, gaining valuable experience in IT operations and asset management.Duties & Responsibilities:
Printer inventory- Device documentation
- Supplies inventory Image Computers for G+D users who are receiving new equipment. Learn how to use Imaging software Configure Windows computers for existing users replacements. Package and ship equipment for those working remotely Install and configure it for those in local site Update Asset inventory Decomissioned equipment documentation
- Data removal.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Working towards a Bachelors degree in: Information Systems Specific systems/tools/software nice to haves Windows Operating system, Outlook, Teams. Highly desired skills (that are not must haves)Knowledge of Active Directory Soft Skills:
Communications Organization Documentation Plan for first 30-60-90 days: First 30 DaysFirst 30 days will be used for Printer Inventory. Documentation and Inventory Setup an supplies inventory Second 30 daysImaging of computers for deployments or backups Third 30 daysRemoval of data of decommissioned computers- wipe out of disks,Document the removal of data The pay for this position is $20.
