Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior IT Technician to serve as the primary on-site technical resource, working alongside our Managed Service Provider (MSP). This is a hands on role responsible for day-to-day IT support, systems administration, and leading internal IT improvements and projects. This position is designed for someone with a strong technical foundation. In addition to support responsibilities, this role will evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI and automation tools, to improve business operations and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Operations (Core Responsibility): Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across hardware, software, and user systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Systems Administration:
Manage user accounts (Active Directory / Microsoft 365 / Entra ID) Administer software licensing (ERP, CRM, SolidWorks, Microsoft, etc.). Addressing software tickets that involve licensing vendors
Project Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
Lead and execute small-to-mid-sized IT projects (hardware rollouts, upgrades, software implementations) Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions Research, evaluate, and recommend new software, hardware, and tools Act as Company lead in coordinating system upgrades and infrastructure improvements Qualifications (Required): 1+ years of hands-on IT experience Experience with: Endpoint/device management tools
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
