Job Description

Role Overview The IT Field Technician provides onsite and remote end-user technical support, leads field technician training and quality standards, manages equipment and site readiness, and ensures timely ticket resolution while driving continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users. Proactively recommends end user software and hardware replacements. Responsible for training all new field technicians on their day to day activities and proper procedures within I/T. Work with external stakeholders as needed. Responsible for the relocation of equipment for the users as users or departments are moved around to various locations. Is the subject matter expert for the field technicians. Responsible for their assigned site(s) equipment to make sure that it is up to date and in working order and proactively performs quality control checks at their assigned site(s). Performs random quality control checks of sites to make sure the highest quality standards are being met. Maintain and process all tickets in their queue within I/T service levels. Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success.

Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent IT training 1-3 years relevant experience Strong communication skills Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 3-5 years relevant experience Certifications and Licensure Minimum A+ Certification Microsoft Certified
