Bold. Transformative. And not finished yet. Responsibilities Provide technical assistance to users, including set up and configuration Provide Tier 1 and 2 levels of Help Desk support, to include covering Help Desk phone, e-mail support requests and Help Desk tickets. Ensure the security, backup, recovery and disaster recovery plans are followed Sets up and maintains workstations including hardware/software configuration. Coordinate computer repairs and software upgrades with end-users. Other duties may be assigned. Competencies Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, internal and external customers.
