Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Software Engineer with a strong background in backend Java development and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications, leading distributed teams, and delivering highly available, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications with minimal supervision. Lead development and support teams by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership. Drive backend application development focused on delivering business value and high-quality solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and technical issues, including occasional off-shift and weekend support. Lead the development of new functionality and applications across cross-functional teams. Establish and promote software development best practices to ensure high standards of quality. Mentor junior developers and foster continuous improvement within the team. Collaborate with business users and internal stakeholders to support development, testing, debugging, and implementation activities. Perform integration testing and support customer acceptance testing to ensure timely and quality outcomes. Participate in technology evaluations and provide recommendations on tools, frameworks, and architectures. Promote enterprise standards, reusable components, and best practices across solutions. Coordinate production support activities, incident resolution, and stakeholder communications. Independently manage work assignments, priorities, and deliverables to achieve project objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience designing and developing software applications using Java. Minimum 3+ years of experience leading geographically distributed teams. Strong experience developing enterprise backend applications. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 Backend development expertise (required) Experience with AWS services, including: IAM Kinesis DynamoDB API-related services
