Wealth and Asset Management Engineering within Schwab Technology supports critical teams across asset management, wealth and advice solutions, financial research, and third-party platforms. In this role, you'll help keep teammates productive and connected by resolving desktop and application issues quickly, securely, and with a strong customer focus. You'll partner across technology teams to deliver stable, reliable endpoint experiences—bringing a structured approach to troubleshooting while continuing to grow your skills and career.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide first- and second-level support for endpoint, application, and connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and approved software
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades
  • Track and manage device lifecycle activities
  • Administer user access requests and permissions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors on incidents and upgrades
  • Identify root causes and contribute to continuous improvement What you have
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in enterprise desktop/application support
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Strong customer-focused communication skills
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and basic Linux
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
  • Understanding of endpoint security practices
  • Ability to document work clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regulated or financial services environments
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools
  • Experience supporting collaboration technologies
  • Ability to partner across teams and vendors
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
