Mobile Technician For an on-site role based in Matteson, we are seeking a Mobile Technician to support hands-on work involving automotive vehicles and related mobile technology. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a temporary contract with an opportunity to become permanent based on performance and business needs. The position focuses on entry-level candidates or individuals with at-home work experience who are interested in applying their technical diagnostics and repair skills in a professional environment. Work that involves different tasks across vehicles and mobile technology throughout the workday. What You Will Do? Work on automotive vehicles by performing hands-on tasks that support diagnostics, maintenance, or related technical activities as assigned on-site. Perform mobile device diagnostics by identifying performance issues, error messages, or malfunctions using established troubleshooting procedures. Carry out hardware repair tasks on mobile devices or related components, following defined repair steps and handling equipment carefully. Assist with software troubleshooting by identifying software-related issues and applying basic fixes or configurations under guidance when necessary. Support operating system configuration on mobile devices by adjusting settings, installing updates, or restoring standard configurations as directed. Your Skills Communication skills that allow you to clearly explain issues, ask relevant questions, and provide understandable updates to colleagues or customers. Mobile device diagnostics abilities that enable you to identify common faults and follow structured procedures to determine potential causes. Hardware repair skills sufficient to handle components safely, replace parts, and follow standard repair instructions accurately and efficiently. Software troubleshooting capabilities that help you recognize basic software problems and apply step-by-step solutions or escalate appropriately. Operating system configuration knowledge that allows you to adjust settings, manage updates, and reset or configure devices to required specifications. Customer service skills that support professional interaction with customers, including listening carefully, responding respectfully, and managing expectations clearly. Interested? Pay Details:
