• Overview
• We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support end-user computing environments, focusing on device deployment, asset management, and user account administration. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Windows systems and a solid understanding of enterprise IT operations.
• Key Responsibilities
• Build, image, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems in a Windows environment
• Manage and track IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory of hardware, devices, and lifecycle status
• Provision and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, including account creation, group memberships, and access management
• Support end users with device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain system documentation and asset records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with IT team members to support device rollouts and ongoing infrastructure needs
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with PC imaging, configuration, and deployment in a Windows environment
• Proven experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including account creation and group administration
• Solid troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware and software issues
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with imaging tools and deployment technologies
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and device lifecycle management
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach

• This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
