Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems & Device Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will administer, build, configure, and maintain modern device management solutions for Windows and iOS devices. This is a hands-on technical role requiring solid Level 1 experience in general IT principles, procedures, and best practices. The primary skillset needed is device configuration and management via Microsoft Intune, Hexnode (or other Apple MDMs), Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Apple Business Manager, and PowerShell scripting. Key Responsibilities Keen attention to detail, good organization, time management, and ability to quickly reprioritize with changing information. Administer, build, configure, and maintain modern MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Hexnode, and Apple Business Manager for iOS device management. Gradual transition from classic imaging techniques with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) to modern provisioning with Windows Autopilot. Configuring and testing software and hardware functions given documented client expectations. Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and device configuration/management. Collaborate with IT departments and stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient configurations timelines and expectations. Keep up-to-date with latest PC hardware news to analyze system hardware requirements and determine optimal recommendations. Build and manage provisioning workflows, deployment profiles, and compliance baselines. Provide advanced technical support for Windows and iOS device management issues. Maintain clear, accurate documentation for device configurations, deployment processes, and management procedures. Keep up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to IT device management configurations. Represent and strengthen security principles when handling user credentials and data, ensuring client trust. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to research specific and non-obvious errors.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum Level 1 knowledge of general IT principles including user management with Office 365 Entra and Active Directory. Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and VPNs to configure devices from our HQ for any client network. Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and MDT for windows devices. Experience managing Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Intune and Hexnode for iOS devices. Proficiency in Group Policy management and PowerShell scripting. Strong understanding of Windows and iOS device configuration, deployment workflows, and security best practices.
