Experience Required:
8-10+ Years (11+ Years Preferred) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced L2 Application Support Engineer to provide production support for Fund Accounting and US Transfer Agency applications. The ideal candidate will have strong mainframe expertise and a proven background in troubleshooting complex production issues within a financial services environment. This role involves working closely with global support teams, business stakeholders, and upstream/downstream application teams to ensure system stability, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement. The position also includes participation in on-call rotations and occasional night/weekend support. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2 production support for Fund Accounting and US Transfer Agency applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and data-related issues across multiple technologies. Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Collaborate with business users, development teams, and global support teams. Monitor production environments and ensure application availability and performance. Coordinate with upstream and downstream application teams to resolve dependencies and integration issues. Participate in on-call support rotations, including occasional evenings and weekends. Document issues, resolutions, and operational procedures.
Required Skills Strong Mainframe expertise:
COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience with production support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Required Experience 8-10+ years of IT/Application Support experience. Experience supporting applications in a financial services environment. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex production issues.
