Application Production Support Analyst#26-08506 Plano, TX Chicago, IL Onsite Contract Starts 9/30/2026 Ends 9/29/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Production Support Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX and Chicago, IL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is a production support role within the Market Risk domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving business queries, managing user support mailboxes, handling feed and batch support items, and incident management. This position requires hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, UNIX/LINUX, ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk.

Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve business queries for Market Risk space Manage user query mailbox effectively, understand the scope of team's work and ensure timely and appropriate response is provided for all user queries Respond to and resolve feed and batch support items, manage alerts and monitoring Utilize important framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace and Splunk for both making updates and producing reports Provide timely and accurate user notifications as well as managing escalations when needed for incident management Perform documentation and knowledge management Follow up and coordinate resolutions with various development teams Assist with metrics reporting Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing and related paperwork Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution Identify scope for automation to reduce manual, repeating tasks

Requirements:

10+ years of Production Support experience Strong SQL knowledge Strong

UNIX / LINUX

knowledge Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Working knowledge of ITIL Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills Excellent project and time management skills Ability to work in a multi-regional team Working knowledge of ITRS, DynaTrace and Splunk Working knowledge of Autosys and Bob jobs Python Scripting knowledge Desired skills: Financial industry experience Knowledge of Market Risk Agile methodology Operations exposure with Windows OS Working knowledge with Tableau Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
