at Insight Global in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Help Desk / Network Administrator for a leading manufacturing organization. This individual will join a close-knit IT team and play a key role in supporting the company's day-to-day technology operations while helping drive several high-impact infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hands-on help desk support and network administration experience, with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Cisco networking technologies, and enterprise troubleshooting. This role will be responsible for supporting end users, maintaining critical business systems, evaluating and upgrading network infrastructure, optimizing wireless connectivity across both office and manufacturing environments, and assisting in the organization's migration from Avaya phone systems to Microsoft Teams Voice.   • 5-7+ years of IT Support, Help Desk, Systems Administration, or Network Administration experience
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 environment (Teams, Outlook, Office Suite, user management)
  • Experience supporting end users with hardware, software, password resets, and troubleshooting tickets
  • Cisco networking experience (switches, routers, wireless infrastructure)
  • Foundational networking knowledge equivalent to CCNA level
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, networks, and systems
  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification, or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable working onsite and wearing multiple hats in a small IT team environment
  • Palo Alto firewall experience
  • Experience with Avaya IP Office phone systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System deployments
  • Cisco hardware refresh or network modernization experience
  • Experience with Wi-Fi design, optimization, and deployment
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Exposure to ERP system support
