Job Description
IT Infrastructure Technician (Managed Service Provider) Managed Services Partners Franklin, Indiana (In Office)
Salary:
$6,000-$7,000 per month, depending on experience. Technology should help businesses—not become another problem they have to solve. At Managed Services Partners, we support the technology our customers rely on every day. From Microsoft 365 and networking to cybersecurity, hosted VoIP, cloud infrastructure, and backup solutions, our goal is simple: keep our customers productive through dependable technology and outstanding service. We're looking for an IT professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and taking ownership of customer issues. This is not a call-center help desk position. Every day brings new challenges, and you'll work across a wide variety of technologies while collaborating with a small, experienced technical team. What You'll Do- Support business customers remotely and onsite.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Support Windows desktops and Windows Server.
- Troubleshoot networking, VPN, wireless, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Support hosted VoIP and SIP-based communications.
- Participate in cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure projects.
- Install and configure networking equipment and IP phones.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional scheduled maintenance. Documentation Matters We believe a problem isn't fully solved until another technician can understand exactly what was done. You'll be expected to document troubleshooting, resolutions, customer environments, and contribute to our internal knowledge base. Documentation is part of completing the job. What We're Looking For
- Approximately 3+ years of professional IT experience (MSP experience preferred).
- Microsoft 365 administration in business environments.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID.
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching).
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service. Experience with Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks, Ubiquiti, hosted VoIP, cybersecurity, or backup solutions is a plus but not required. Why Work Here?
- Small team where your work makes a difference.
- Exposure to Microsoft cloud, networking, cybersecurity, hosted VoIP, and infrastructure projects.
- Company-paid or reimbursed approved technical training.
- Paid Time Off.
- Mileage reimbursement.
- Opportunities to continue growing your technical skills.
