Job Description

The IT Help Desk Specialist contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional customer service, quality,process improvement, and profitability by ensuring that technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software is given in a timely and complete manner. A successful IT Help Desk Specialist is entrepreneurial-minded and uses a solution-oriented approach in his/her work. The IT Help Desk Specialist responds quickly to queries, runs diagnostics programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solutions. Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description; meeting performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position; working according to specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham; working effectively in a team environment; and providing a high level of internal and external customer service. Performance standards for this position will be established annually based on meeting established deadlines; accuracy of work; response time to requests.
