RESPONSIBILITIES
Allen Community College is seeking a Computer Technician to provide frontline technical support for students, faculty, and staff. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, peripherals, and related technologies in a higher-education environment. The Computer Technician plays a key role in ensuring reliable, user-friendly technology services that support teaching, learning, and college operations.QUALIFICATIONS
Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or a related field required. Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in CIS or related field preferred. One to three (1-3) years of relevant IT or technical support experience required. Three (3+) years of experience preferred. Experience working in a higher-education environment preferred. Valid driver's license / ability to travel between campus locations as needed. Successful completion of background check.LOCATION
