Job Description

Cruz Associates, Inc. of Yorktown, VA (www.cruzinc.us) has a position open and is looking for qualified candidates for an Aviation Maintenance Help Desk / Field Technician . The job location is Fort Campbell, Kentucky in support of the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command's Digitally Integrated Maintenance Environment (DIME).
Scope:
The Help Desk / Field Technician (FSR) is a strategic technical position within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of customers' hardware and software systems within DoD standards, along with handling incoming technical support calls and tickets. Field work and client management are also large components of this position. The Help Desk / Field Technician is responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of aviation supported by Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) software products including demonstrating correct usage and application to the customers. The Help Desk / Field Technician must have strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to independently and successfully lead and/or facilitate discussions with key business and technical stakeholders. The duties and responsibilities may change from time to time without notice and include but are not limited to the duties described below.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform field service activities by installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and servicing Army supported systems at customer sites. Provide training by over-the-shoulder or over-the-phone. Assist with the fielding of new hardware and software. Imaging of network systems and to ensure that all systems are up to date with system and security updates. Complete various reports such as customer data mining reports, timesheets, expense reports and inventory lists in a timely, accurate and legible fashion. Manage multiple Helpdesk Trouble ticket system. Manage multiple users and aircraft systems within Active Directory.
Provide basic remote access support:
VPN. Coordinate hardware replacements and repairs. Provide Tier I/II Helpdesk support services for Microsoft related technologies. Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of AAMD. Possesses a Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
Education and Experience-Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. 6 years' experience in a high-traffic customer service setting. Extensive experience working with Microsoft products to include Office, Active Directory and operating systems. Knowledge of Army Aviation STAMIS software, (Aircraft Notebook). Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of employment
