Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our team in the Fort Mitchel KY . This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills, as technicians regularly interact with end users both remotely and in person. Key Responsibilities Provide desktop support for end users in a Windows-based environment. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software. Respond to technical support requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting agency users. Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support. Document issues, resolutions, and support activities as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on desktop support experience . Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software in a Windows environment. Basic network troubleshooting knowledge and skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and objects. Ability to work in confined or uncomfortable positions for extended periods when necessary. Willingness to travel locally to provide on-site support. Preferred Skills Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments. Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, hardware deployment, and peripheral troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
