- in Louisville, KY and provide end-user support. This role will work the hours of
- 5AM to 1PM, Monday to Friday.
- This position will supplement the existing application support team and requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role must have working knowledge of Lab Information Systems. They must be able to interact with business users and a Business background is a plus.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- :•Application & System Support•+ Troubleshoot and resolve instrument connection issues within the LIS environment + Support application break-fix issues following established SOPs and change management processes + Resolve issues with ancillary systems such as label printing, scanning, and Myla/Vitek access + Monitor system performance across databases, interfaces, and applications + Validate application and system changes to ensure stability and compliance •Workflow & Process Improvement•+ Gather examples of application issues and document workflows + Translate findings into business requirements for system improvements + Document current laboratory workflows to support LIS replacement initiatives (LABDAQ to Global LIS) + Assist in implementing prior LABDAQ recommendations for system optimization •Collaboration & Communication•+ Meet daily with department leaders to review application issues and workflow improvements + Collaborate with manager-level stakeholders on ongoing system enhancements + Participate in daily LIS team meetings to share findings and support solution development •Documentation•+ Create and maintain technical and process documentation + Ensure all findings, issues, and workflows are clearly documented for future reference •Wage Range•: The rate for this position is between •$26.
