Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Help Desk Specialist to join a DoD program that is fully-funded through 2028, supporting the USMC located in New Orleans, LA . The Help Desk Specialist will assist with end-user desktop support for a large enterprise network. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and grow within the Intelligence Community.
This will start out as a night shift role, but after a few months the shifts will be open based on the candidates preference.
MUST HAVE COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION AND ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
Responsibilities for the Help Desk Specialist include:
- Assist with IT support for devices/technologies including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones, and other network devices
- Help resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues
- Work directly with employees and officials to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Execute operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk
- Meet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls Required Qualifications for the Help Desk Specialist include:
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance
- 1+ Years of IT experience
Active IAT II Certification:
CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher
- Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and support for IT devices Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist include:
