7/29/2026 9:30 AM Central Job Summary To admit and be primarily responsible for transfer students, collect, review, process and code admissions applications for input in AdmissionPros and Banner systems. The applicant will be responsible for entering all transfer credits in a timely manner. The qualified candidate must provide service to meet goals and academic needs of Grambling State University. Job Duties & Responsibilities Utilize AdmissionPros and Banner system by providing statistical/data reports as requested Run weekly data reports for Director of Admissions and AVP of Enrollment Management Batch and print all admissions letters for incoming students Assume responsibility for the online application process for transfer students (push applications and correspond with follow-up communication) Manage the Banner 9 system identifying and patching defects, ensure maintenance of the system Assist with training staff on entering transfer credits and processing transfer student applications Collect, review, process, and code transfer transcripts from Parchment, Clearinghouse, ScribOrder to enter into Banner system Correspond with transfer students ensuring full compliance for the admissions process Travel to community colleges and colleges/universities with established MOUs to recruit students Perform other duties as assigned by the
Director of Admissions, Assistant Directors, and AVP of Enrollment Management Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor's degree is required Posses effective communication skills both written and orally
Preferred:
Experience in high education admissions and student recruitment Ability to analyze academic transcripts Supplemental Information Applications without the following will not be considered complete.
