The IT Intern is responsible for imaging and deploying equipment, setting up workstations, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while multitasking with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices such as routers, printers, etc.
Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance around others' schedules.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems by repairing or replacing parts, debugging, etc.
Maintain records and logs of equipment.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems Understanding of Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Customer service skills and patience Pleasant phone skills and demeanor Able to read and understand technical manuals Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Physical Requirements Minimum manual labor is involved, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds This position requires candidates to have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.Similar remote jobs
