TheFoodServicesSystemsComputer Repair TechnicianisresponsibleformanagingthetasksassociatedwiththeinstallationandmaintenanceofhardwareandsoftwarefortheFoodServicesDepartmentandactsastheliaisonbetweencontractedsoftwarevendorsandtheFoodServices,TechnologyandSISDepartments.

TheFoodServicesSystemsComputer Repair TechnicianisalsocrosstrainedtoperformthebasicjobdutiesoftheFoodServicesApplicationManager.

Maintains DC lists. Manages website for food services. Tracks site health inspections. Respondstocafeteriaandcentralofficebasedsoftwareandhardwareissuesinatimely Makessitevisitstoschoolswithapersonalvehicleorworksremotelytoresolvereported CommunicateseffectivelywiththeJPSTechnologyDepartmentinseekingadditionalhelpinproblem InstallshardwareandsoftwareincafeteriaandFoodServices Repairsandreconditionsdepartmenthardwareif Recommendsthepurchaseofhardwareandancillaryitemsas Overseesthesoftwarerolloverprocesspriortothebeginningofeachschool TracksandtroubleshootsdailycommunicationsbetweentheFoodServicesandSISsoftware ActsasliaisonbetweenFoodServicessoftwarevendorsandotherJPS ConductsorassistsintrainingforFoodServices Is"oncall"fortasksthatrequirecompletionafterstandardwork

Physical Involvement:

Continuous movement is required most of the day; standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting 30 pounds is sometimes required. Must have ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations, and meeting sites. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas. Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations and meetings, both inside and outside the parish.
