DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot, upgrade, repair, or replace hardware and software components. Provide support, training, and guidance to users on the operation of hardware and software components. Maintain good relationships and communications with all departments and colleagues. Set up new user accounts and profiles, manage access permissions, and handle password-related issues. Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and support activities to facilitate future troubleshooting and improve service quality. Work with other IS team members to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred Four years of job-related experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software components. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office products is a must Willingness to extensively troubleshoot and research problems Information Systems industry certifications are a plus (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) Familiarity with audio/video systems is preferred Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with persons at all levels Must have a valid Louisiana Driver's License Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively. Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting, network systems, and cloud computing.
