(CLOUD & CYBERSECURITY) The IRS is hiring experienced IT professionals through a Direct Hire Authority 6-Month Register for opportunities at the GS-13 through GS-15 levels.

What You\'ll Do:

Develop and implement innovative cloud security concepts, architectures, standards, and operational procedures across major cloud platforms, including: Microsoft Azure \| Amazon Web Services (AWS) \| Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Help lead and strengthen enterprise cybersecurity by: Supporting cloud modernization initiatives and enterprise security integration Identifying and managing information security, data protection, insider threat, and enterprise risk management issues Ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and government-wide standards Reviewing and improving IRS cloud security policies, standards, and procedures Advising on Zero Trust Architecture and industry cybersecurity best practices Serving as an expert technical advisor on agency-wide information security and privacy initiatives Working with emerging technologies and helping shape the future of cloud security across the enterprise This opportunity is ideal for experienced IT professionals with backgrounds in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity Architecture, Azure, AWS, GCP, Zero Trust, Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security, and Cloud Modernization. Selected candidates at lower grade levels may receive training and development opportunities to grow into higher-level responsibilities.
