Temporary IT Support Technician Greater Lawrence Technical School (MA) Andover, MA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Working in conjunction with the IT Department Staff, the Summer IT Support Technician(s) will complete high-priority tasks such as installing new equipment, servicing staff and student laptops, and completing infrastructure projects. Up to 40 hours per week (Summer 2026), $25.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, projectors, and other classroom technologies. Respond to help desk tickets, emails, or in-person requests in a timely and professional manner. Document issues and solutions in the help desk tracking system. Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and technology rollouts. Install and terminate a Cat6 Ethernet cable Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

: High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated experience with basic computer troubleshooting (hardware/software). Familiarity with Windows and/or Chrome OS environments.

ABILITY, KNOWLEDGE , AND SKILLS

Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Prior experience in a help desk, IT support, or educational technology environment. Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or similar are a plus. Familiarity with educational software and systems (Google Workspace for Education, learning management systems, etc.).
