• Healthcare compliance What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Supporting clinical trial sites with device setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical assistance Ensuring adherence to clinical trial protocols and standard operating procedures Documenting device performance, issues, and resolutions with attention to data integrity requirements Collaborating with clinical staff, research coordinators, and engineering teams to resolve on-site challenges Maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory standards and healthcare requirements Communicating clearly with cross-functional teams on protocol adherence and patient safety concerns Responding to urgent issues and providing field-level support when needed What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 2-5 years of experience in clinical engineering, field support, biomedical engineering, or a related healthcare technical role Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience Working knowledge of clinical trial protocols, regulatory compliance (FDA, GCP), and healthcare data standards Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working independently in clinical environments Excellent communication skills with both technical and clinical audiences Ability to travel to clinical sites as needed Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have Certification in clinical engineering or relevant medical device specialization Prior experience supporting FDA-regulated medical devices or clinical trials Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems or clinical trial software What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Direct involvement in clinical research that advances medical treatments and patient outcomes Exposure to regulatory environments and healthcare compliance practices Opportunity to build expertise in clinical trial operations and medical device support Collaborative work with diverse clinical and technical teams Flexible contract engagement with potential for extension based on program needs Professional development in a specialized healthcare field About Specialist Staffing Group We connect talented professionals with specialized opportunities in clinical research, life sciences, and medical device organizations.
