$22.50/hour plus night shift differential

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday About the Opportunity Abel Personnel is hiring a Computer Operator for a global technology organization in Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are interested in IT operations, systems monitoring, technical support, help desk, infrastructure support, or data center operations. This role is a great fit for recent IT graduates, technical school graduates, certificate program students, current students, recent interns, and candidates with some hands-on technical experience. Responsibilities Monitor computer systems, enterprise infrastructure, and operational alerts. Assist with daily computer operations and scheduled processes. Complete assigned checklists and follow documented procedures. Report problems to senior computer operators or supervisors. Escalate unresolved issues to the proper internal teams. Assist with recovery steps to restore normal system operations. Respond to user or customer inquiries under supervision. Document issues, actions, and updates in the tracking system. Support senior operators and IT team members as needed. Requirements Two-year technical degree, IT certification, technical training, or comparable experience. 12-24 months of computer operations, help desk, technical support, or IT support experience preferred. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new tools. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and escalation procedures. Strong communication and documentation skills. Must be able to work overnight 12-hour shifts. Must pass criminal background check. Must pass FBI-level background screening for gaming licensing.
