Jobs › North Dartmouth, MA › IT Support Specialist Spherion Staffing IT Support Specialist North Dartmouth, MA Apply 4 month contract 8am to 5pm Performance Requirements Essential Functions ? Manage the organization?s information technology and computer systems ? Manage IT security and network access (including VPN, Active Directory) ? Monitor employees? compliance with acceptable use policy of the organization?s assets ? Track and maintain all hardware and software inventory ? Troubleshoot technology issues in conjunction with organization?s WMS Support Team (Vermont Information Processing) ? Manage contracted IT service providers ? Manage necessary upgrades to software and technical infrastructure ? Coordinate information security training and exercises for our employees ? Coordinate and facilitate periodic IT Disaster Recovery exercises/test ? Support technical aspects of employee onboarding/offboarding ? Actively work with Managers/Supervisors to build efficiency with technology Other Duties ? Assist with office tasks as needed Standards & Behavior In addition to the above outlined job responsibilities, the company maintains a standard of expected behavior. The position requires adaptability, courtesy and the ability to use good judgement. Working Conditions Physical Demands ? Ability to climb stairs as office is on 2nd floor of building ? Air-conditioned and heated office environment ? Ability to lift 25lbs Qualifications/Skills ? Associate?s degree in a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience ? Vermont Information Processing experience (preferred) ? Microsoft Office/Teams experience ? Proficiency in IT best practices and computer hardware/software systems ? Hands-on experience with computer networks and network administration) ? Solid analytical and problem-solving skills ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? Strong time management skills ?
