Job Description

Entry-Level Help Desk Technician Weston Nurseries is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to support employees across our retail stores, greenhouse operations, landscaping teams, and corporate offices. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in Information Technology while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, multi-site business environment. Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business applications Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and user account issues Deploy and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals Assist with password resets, account access, and multi-factor authentication Document incidents, resolutions, and asset assignments Support IT projects, system upgrades, and day-to-day operational needs Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels of the company Qualifications Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts Strong customer service and communication skills Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience Preferred Experience Active Directory user management IT ticketing or help desk management systems Basic cybersecurity best practices Supporting printers and network-connected devices Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge Experience in retail, horticulture, landscaping, or another multi-location organization Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and enjoys helping others. This person should be comfortable learning new technology, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
