Job Description
Robert Half Application Support Specialist Lowell, MA Apply Description We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to manage and maintain a suite of Microsoft-based enterprise applications. This contract-to-permanent position is based in Lowell, Massachusetts, and offers the opportunity to work on diverse systems while collaborating with internal teams to enhance application performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integrations, troubleshooting, and user access management.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tier II support for a variety of Microsoft-based business applications, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.
- Administer and troubleshoot user authentication and configurations within Okta, maintaining secure access across systems.
- Facilitate integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Utilize SQL to query databases, troubleshoot issues, and validate data integrity without engaging in development activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve application performance issues.
- Monitor and support various software applications, ensuring they operate efficiently.
- Maintain Active Directory configurations and permissions to support enterprise operations.
- Provide technical guidance on Dell and Cisco technologies, ensuring hardware compatibility with supported applications.
- Contribute to system upgrades and application enhancements to optimize user experience. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications within a Microsoft-centric environment.
- Proficiency in Okta for user authentication, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and validating data.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and integrated system support.
- Familiarity with Dell and Cisco technologies, particularly in relation to computer hardware.
- Ability to troubleshoot and support system integrations effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience managing application performance and resolving system issues.
