- Apple Systems & JAMF Support Technician.
Primary Responsibilities:
- -Administer and maintain the District's JAMF Pro Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment.
- -Manage JAMF Safe Internet, including web filtering, DNS security, reporting, and CIPA compliance.
- -Deploy, configure, and manage iPads, MacBooks, Apple TVs, and other Apple devices using Apple School Manager and Automated Device Enrollment.
- -Create and maintain JAMF policies, Smart Groups, configuration profiles, application deployments, and security settings.
- -Manage the complete lifecycle of District Apple devices, including deployment, inventory, repairs, warranty coordination, replacement, and refresh cycles.
- -Support classroom technology including interactive displays, Apple TVs, projectors, printers, audio systems, and instructional software.
- -Provide technical support to teachers, administrators, and staff through the District help desk and onsite support model.
- -Support Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, wireless networking, identity management, and related instructional technologies.
- -Maintain inventory records, documentation, software licensing, and asset management.
- -Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, technology planning, summer deployments, and special technology projects.
- -Provide end-user training and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology. Minimum Qualifications
- -Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- -Minimum of two (2) years supporting Apple devices in a K-12 or enterprise environment preferred.
- -Experience administering JAMF Pro.
- -Experience with JAMF Safe Internet or similar web filtering and security platforms preferred.
- -Working knowledge of Apple School Manager, Managed Apple IDs, Automated Device Enrollment, macOS, iPadOS, Google Workspace for Education, and Microsoft 365.
- -Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- -Understanding of CIPA compliance and K-12 cybersecurity best practices.
- -Ability to travel between District buildings
- -Physically able to safely lift technology equipment.
- -Must pass MA CORI and required background checks.
