The Automotive Technical Support Advisor is critical to ensure our customers are effectively supported throughout the lifecycle of their vehicles. You will serve as the primary technical resource managing warranty activity, coordinating repairs, supporting parts and service needs, and analyzing field data to improve product reliability. As a key link between customers and internal teams, you will help diagnose issues and provide insights that directly influence product performance and customer satisfaction. Ideal opportunity for an experienced automotive technician, dealership service advisor, shop foreman, or diagnostic specialist looking to move into a customer-focused technical support role.What You'll Do:
Diagnose vehicle concerns remotely via phone and email while providing recommended repair solutions. Coordinate offsite repairs and service support with customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Conduct out-of-service maintenance evaluations and installation support for parts and accessories. Serve as the primary point of contact for warranty claims to ensure accuracy and timely resolution. Create service orders to facilitate warranty parts shipments and coordinate vendor replacements. Maintain communication with customers regarding technical support, relations, and issue status. Track and document all service activity and vehicle history within ERP software.What We're Looking For:
Strong mechanical background with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex machinery problems. Exceptional ability to translate technical data into clear solutions for customers. Experience using service or support software to manage customer records and interaction history. Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules, and technical documentation compliance. Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse global customer base. Proven ability to work in an efficient and timely manner to meet critical deadlines.
